Did You Have A Bad Day?

If you think you have had a bad week, remember the name Frane Salek has the most interesting story of them all.
In 1962, Frane was traveling in Croatia by train when the train derailed and plunged into the river below. 17 people died…but Frane survived.
In 1963, Frane was thrown from a plane when a malfunctioning door threw him out yet landed into a haystack and survived.
In 1966, Frane was aboard a bus that slid off the road and into a river. Again, he survived where 4 others were killed. In 1970, his car caught on fire…Frane survived.
In 1973, his car had a faulty fuel line starting a fire but he was rescued before the explosion. In 1995, Frane was hit by a bus. In 1996 he avoided a head on collision, hit the guard rail, was ejected from the car and watched his car plummet 300 feet below.
And then in 2003, Frane WON THE LOTTERY for $1 million dollars! He gave most of his fortune away in exchange for a simple life. Through all these experiences, he later said, “I know God was watching over me and no matter what happened or how bad things got, I never gave up hope.”

The devils beatitudes

- Blessed are they are too tired and too busy to go to Church on Sundays for they are my best workers.
- Blessed are they that are bored with the ministers’ mannerisms and mistakes for they get nothing out of the sermon.
- Blessed is the church member who expects to be invited to his own church for he is part of the problem instead of the solution.
- Blessed are they who gossip for they cause strife and division that please me
- Blessed are they who are easily offended for they soon get angry and quit.
- Blessed are they who do not give their offering to carry on God’s work for they are good helpers.
- Blessed is he who professes to love God but hates his brother and sister for he shall be with me forever.
- Blessed are the troublemakers for they shall be called the children of the devil.
- Blessed is he who has no time to pray for he shall be easily defeated.

Remember the Old Paths (The Bible Is Still Relevant)

Humanistic psychology is the enabling of a feeble man’s effort to try and heal man spiritually. We don’t need to add to or take away from the work of the Holy Spirit. We’ve seen too many people delivered by the awesome power of God to doubt him now.
Where was man’s holy inventions back in Jesus’s Day? How did he appeal to the people? Do we think God was clueless when he ordained all this before the foundation of the world?
When he didn’t acquiesce to man’s ways, look what happened. THANK GOD HE DIDN’T BACK DOWN.
“Thus says the Lord; Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk in it.” (Jeremiah 6:16)
“For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. (Malachi 3:6)

Finding Help In The Storm
23
Apr '21
But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. Matthew 14:24-27
In this passage we find the disciples of Jesus in trouble on a journey that Jesus sent them on. Many lessons for those serving Christ can be learned from this passage. This scripture has been of help to untold millions of people on their journey. For the Christian in a storm that is reading this, take comfort in knowing that help is on the way!
On the journey that Jesus sends us, expect opposition. Evil spirits are involved in the mischief of destructive storms. The history of Job shows what power Satan has over the elements when he is permitted to use it. Paul showed us in Ephesians 2:2 that satanic forces are involved in the movement of the air. Knowing these facts, there is little doubt that satan sought the destruction of the disciples that night on the sea.
As we follow the path Jesus has laid out for us, we can be assured that satan will try to hinder that direction. The greater the call, the greater the opposition. Therefore, don’t think that you are somehow different when the storms of life are raging around you. Many a great servant of Jesus has been through trials and tribulations since Calvary.
But take comfort that Jesus will arrive on the scene. He come in the middle of the storm to the disciples and spoke out “BE NOT AFRAID, IT IS I” !
Jesus is closer than you now to bring help in the storms of life. Evil forces may hinder, but One greater is coming to your help!

Facebook Went Too Far
04
Dec '20
I was scrolling through Facebook and I noticed this pic covered and labeled as violent content. I uncovered it and to my surprise it was not what I expected. It was a image of Santa Clause kneeling by a manger.
I am not a fan of telling kids about Santa Clause and especially the church mingling this paganism into the flock but how is this violent content? The message of the post about the painting is good, nothing evil. The idea behind the painting was to acknowledge Christmas is about Jesus and not the other things it has turned it into.
I have reported pornography showing up in my feed and supposedly, according to Facebook support, it did not violate any rules. But this pic of Santa was labeled as violent content by Facebook
Why is this happening? Easy answer. 2 Timothy Chapter 3. We are in the last days.
Facebook went too far with this. – from Pastor Wilson
